I am an Associate Professor and GIS Program Director in the Department of Geography at Central Washington University. I teach courses on GIS, cartography, world geography (especially Latin America), and resource management. My research topics have included crowdsourced geographic information, critical cartography, narrative maps, free and open source GIS software, and the politics of digital maps.
