I am an Associate Professor and GIS Program Director in the Department of Geography at Central Washington University. I teach courses on GIS, cartography, world geography (especially Latin America), and resource management. My research topics have included crowdsourced geographic information, critical cartography, street-level imagery, free and open source GIS software, GIS education, and the use of GIS methods to study landscapes.
